“That quite possibly was the most delicious NY Strip I've ever had. Now I prefer certain cuts at certain temps, & I usually go med rare (more on the rare side) with Strips. This steak was super tender & the flavor was outta this world! I prefer to grill (obviously, who doesn't?)but when in my apt in NYC, I like to preheat my oven @ 400• then get a skillet going with a little olive oil or butter with chopped garlic cloves, I let that simmer until the pan is super hot & the garlic is crispy. I then throw the steaks on for 3 minutes on each side till they are blackened. After that it's straight to the oven. I made Mojitos to drink (with Splenda) watermelon salad, sweet corn & garlic string beans with the steaks & my girlfriend was delighted.” Murph- New York, New York

“We and we had the filets Saturday night. They were wonderful. We grill them rare and used regular kitchen knives to cut them and were hardly needed. When I was a kid in Nebraska we usually had a half in the freezer that my Dad and Mom got from one of the family that farmed or ranched.
